2018年05月23日上午,IEEEFellow应浩教授于当日上午在将军路校区自动化学院1号楼405会议室与学院部分博士生开展了学术研讨会,并于当日下午在403会议室做题为“Type-2 Fuzzy Control vs Type-1 Fuzzy Control: An AnalyticalPerspective”的学术报告。会议由自动化学院院长姜斌教授主持,自动化学院部分师生参加了报告会。
应教授的报告内容主要包括:模糊控制的发展历程及研究现状、模糊集的基本概念、模糊控制器是设计方法和一些应用实例。
应浩教授首先讲解了在控制系统中1型模糊集和2型模糊集的概念,并从其隶属函数维数出发,得到2型模糊集能够以定量的方式表征成员函数的不确定性这一结论。他指出,2型模糊控制器本质是一个函数发生器,能在控制器的输入和输出端作用一个非线性映射。随后,应浩教授介绍了一些常见的区间2型模糊控制器,并从控制性能和系统复杂性(例如,设计参数的数量)角度进行分析。
最后,应教授与到场的师生进行了交流互动,耐心解答了师生们所提出的学术问题并与到会师生代表合影。

Dr. Hao Ying (应浩) is a professor at the Department of Electrical and ComputerEngineering, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is an IEEEFellow. He has published one single-author book entitled Fuzzy Control andModeling: Analytical Foundations and Applications (IEEE Press, 2000; forewordby Professor Lotfi A. Zadeh). He has also coauthored another book titledIntroduction to Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control: Theory and Applications (IEEE Pressand John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2014). In addition, he has published over 110peer-reviewed journal papers and more than 160 conference papers. His work hasbeen widely cited – his Google Scholar h-index is 46 with the total number ofcitations being over 7,500. He is serving as an Associate Editor or a Member ofEditorial Board for nine international journals, including the IEEETransactions on Fuzzy Systems and the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, andCybernetics: Systems. He served as a member of the Fellow Evaluation Committeeof the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society in 2016 and 2017 and has alsoserves as a member of the Fuzzy Systems Technical Committee of the IEEEComputational Intelligence Society (2008-2013 and 2015-present). He served asProgram Chair for three international conferences and as a Program/TechnicalCommittee Member for over 100 international conferences.
